Grapewood Florals is a boutique wedding florist located in Phoenixville, Pa.
We have a love and passion for floral art that focuses on texture and form, just like the grapewood branch. Its unique shape is not like other branches. It stands out with its rustic elegant arms and lends itself to different styles yet still maintaining the sense of woodland bohemian beauty.
About Amy
I have been in and out of flower shops since high school. I went to Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia for Graphic Design. I never found my niche in that and eventually realized that the design principles were the same for floral design - the use of color, form and balance. I received my Floral Design certificate from Longwood Gardens and have had the privilege of learning from some of the top designers in the industry. I find inspiration from some of my favorite botanicals such as ferns, branches, trailing vines and uniquely shaped flowers.
Services
The process begins with a consultation where we will get to know each other and discuss your needs, your vision, look over inspiration pictures, identify flowers you like and dislike and the overall look and feel you are going for.
I will provide you with a detailed proposal, and if you decide to work with me, a signed contract and deposit of $200 will secure your date. I book one event per date, so your day will have my full attention to the details and ensure the quality of the flowers meet your expectations. Changes can be made up to 4 weeks before the wedding date.
Military Discount
I greatly appreciate our military! If you are an active member or veteran, you will receive 10% off your wedding as a thank you for your service.
Flower Donations
I don’t like to waste flowers. Plain and simple. My hope is you share your reception centerpieces with your guests by allowing them to take them home. If for any reason that is not an option, I will be happy to bring them to a local assisted living facility or nursing home to share some happiness.
